FIVE FAST FACTS ABOUT ELLE NICOLE
I realize that I actually need to take the time to properly introduce myself as I continue to launch Sex Meets Style. So, here are five little facts about me.

I attended and graduated from sex school.
Yes, there is a such thing as sex school (although it isn’t exactly called “sex school”), and not only can you study sex, but in the program I completed, you can actually earn a doctorate. The program, for those who are interested, is at the Center for Human Sexuality Studies at a small college in Chester, Pennsylvania called Widener University. And, to date, it is the only program in the world that offers an accredited doctoral program in sex studies. But don’t be fooled, even though studying sex is fun and stimulating (pun intended) since there is so much porn watching and BDSM demonstrations (no, I’m not kidding), it was still one of the most academically rigorous programs I’ve ever encountered. In addition to my master’s in human sexuality, I also have a master’s in clinical psychology. So, when it comes to sex and intimate relationships, I’m pretty well informed, and I still continue to research and learn as much as I can about my field.

I have a real life “Full House” situation with seven children.
Nope. That wasn’t a typo. I am a mother of four stepchildren from my partner’s previous relationships as well as our three boys. They range in age from 19 to 11 months, and life is as crazy as it is expected to be with a house full of kids. My days mostly consist of sneaking a few quiet moments in the bathroom to update and maintain Sex Meets Style when the kids are sleep, at school or glued to a “Phineas and Ferb” marathon.

I’m from Chi-Town.
Contrary to popular belief, Chicagoans aren’t undercover polar bears who get “used to” the gut wrenching, slap-your-mama cold otherwise known as “The Hawk” or “Old Man Winter.” We hate it too. For the record, no human on Earth can or will be content in 40 below zero weather with 50 mph winds that freeze you from the inside out. Around here, the polar bears win. You can see them doing drive by snowballings, giving us the finger and riding out in iced out snowplows.

I am the world.
Well, not really, but I do come from a culturally diverse background, which includes Irish, Puerto Rican, French and African heritages. I would like to think that being a member of all of these cultures gives me some sort of cultural awareness and unique perspective.

I believe in passion.
No, I’m not speaking of the sexual kind although that is great too. I believe in doing what you are most passionate about in life, because if you’re going to dedicate most of your life doing whatever it is, you better love it. Life is too short to spend it regretting every moment, so make sure you put your best effort into living up to your full potential doing what you love most.
