Every woman desires something in life - a good man, the perfect job, well-behaved children, a retirement plan or to lose those pesky 10 pounds. However, there are some things that a woman must have according to the law of womanhood. So, SMS decided to take an online poll asking women what they think every woman must have.
Here it is ladies…
1. A Tiffany & Co. (something)
She is a girl’s best friend. Go ahead, admit it. You could be angry enough to kill, and then he walks in the room with that blue box. All of a sudden, miraculously, you forgot why you were angry in the first place. That’s the power of Tiffany’s.
2. A good pair of Nike Women's running shoes
Ahh, the feeling of the trademark Nike-cushioned sole under your foot, nothing can beat it. It’s just what a woman needs when she wants to make like Forrest Gump and run from the office, the husband and the kids.
3. The perfect lipstick (by MAC, of course)
What could be better than the perfect shade of lipstick? It’s the most economical and necessary form of glamour that a girl could ever have. It feels like silk, goes with everything and attracts just the right guy (or the right guy for right now).
4. A standing hair appointment and unforgettable smile
A perfect do’ and a knock- ‘em-dead smile is exactly what a woman needs to feel like the million dollars she wishes she had. Besides, what better way is there to unleash that inner diva?
5. Faith
It gets you through the bad holidays, the relentless midnight calls from creditors, the woman who cunningly finds herself helpless around your man, the screaming children and, oh yes, the mother in-law. When you have nothing else, you still have your faith. Amen.
6. A secret closet
Remember those nude pictures you took at Freaknic ‘92 or that drunk weekend in Cancun? These little moments are the very reason for the secret closet. It’s that little private place you keep all of those things that remind you of your former self. If you don’t have one, get one.
7. A great black dress
It fits perfectly and hides everything. Enough said.
8. A best friend that loves you unconditionally
A best friend loves you enough to tell you those 10 pounds have turned into 20, and that great black dress can’t hide it anymore. She’s brutal, honest and sometimes down right ugly with it, but a friend for life.
9. Pretty stationary
If you’re going to write him that “I hate you” letter, why not on pretty stationary? Every women needs to be in style, even on paper.
10. The guts to laugh out loud and not care who hears you - especially at yourself.
