Definition: STYLE

Dictionary.com defines "style" as a mode of fashion, as in dress, especially good or approved fashion; elegance; smartness. I say style is far more than the dictionary gives credit. Style literally makes the world go round. It drives the world's economy with billions of followers, who strive to make their personal stake in the it known through a hat, a pair of jeans, a favorite pair shoes or even a dirty old sweatshirt. It's your daily statement to the world whether you step out in $1,500 Louboutin's or $79 Adidas. Everyone has it, and everyone strives to share their take on it with the rest of us. Even more, style gives people a glimpse into who you are as it displays your character and passion.

This is my ode to style. Remember to embrace it wherever you go letting the rest of the world know just how you make a statement, because true style never goes out of style. Someone out there said it best: Fashion changes, but style endures.
